Baby Blanket -

Baby Blanket  is a felted grass material that holds moisture around the roots for more even growing conditions. It allows growing soil type sprouts without the mess of soil and without the difficulty of getting good safe organic soil.
We feel that if you use it in combination with Sea Spray kelp you'll have all the advantages of soil sprouting without the disadvantages. Use it for wheat, Kamut, rye, millet, oat, and barley grass, buckwheat, and sunflower and pea shoots.
It's also great for mucilaginous seeds like arugula, flax and cress.

Use it in a small tray with drainage or in a plant flat. It can be reused if carefully picked over, and it is compostable. It stands up well to bleaching and to boiling water.

For now we have only the 10 foot by 39" roll, but we hope to offer cut sizes in the near future. It can be cut with fabric scissors.

Kelp Man liquid seaweed

New - large size bottle available. This cold processed liquid kelp is a concentrate; you mix 1 tsp. to one US quart or one liter of water. The small 125ml bottle makes 25 quarts or liters of solution, the 1 liter bottle makes 200liters or 200 US quarts.

You can use it as a seed soak, or use in a spray bottle to apply to the growing sprouts. Of course it's great for garden or houseplants too.

We are getting a small yield increase with some sprouts, but we feel the main advantage is the additional minerals supplied by the kelp.
